£29,476.07 per annum (pro rata from FTE)  plus bonus scheme

£36, 970.00 (Full Time Equivalent per annum)

BCoT’s apprenticeship team, Aspiral Learning, is one of the largest providers of apprenticeships in the region. Working with both large and small employers across all industry sectors.

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team. This pivotal role will be instrumental in expanding our apprenticeship, work-based learning, adult, and HE provision, fostering strong employer relationships, and achieving sustainable growth.

As part of our Business Development team, you will be responsible for proactively generating new income streams, securing new business opportunities, and driving learner numbers. You will engage with employers, promote our diverse range of programmes, and utilise your expertise to develop strategic partnerships that benefit both learners and businesses.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

• Proven experience in business development and sales, ideally within the education or training sector.

• A strong track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.

• Ability to actively manage sales activity

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with employers.

• Proficiency in using CRM systems and social media platforms.

• A proactive and self-motivated approach.

• Strong knowledge of the apprenticeship sector.

• Ability to understand and interpret labour market intelligence.

• You will also lead, manage and further develop events to promote apprenticeships, distance learning and adult learning.

• Able to work within a busy team environment
